Every cyclist who actively uses a bicycle is faced with the constant challenge of keeping it in good condition. The minimum maintenance is washing and lubricating the drivetrain. Of course, you can wash your bike in your home bathtub and then wash the bathroom, walls and yourself, or you can stop by a car wash, pour pressurized water on all the bearings and then have to service and dry the entire bike. In the worst cases, pressurized water will ruin the paint finish and even the anodizing of the forks and shock absorbers.
But this is not about our service! At BlackBike bike shop, we use special products and special chemicals to wash your bike in a professional bike wash. We do not wash your bike under high pressure. We thoroughly brush and sponge every part and component of the bike. The transmission is washed with special cleaners, including an ultrasonic bath.
Why is it important to wash your bike very thoroughly in the shop? The mechanics check every part visually during the wash, and they can detect external damage such as scratches, chips, dents, cracks in the frame and parts, loose parts, play, worn or cut tires, and bike parts that may need to be repaired or replaced.
After washing, all parts of the bicycle must be blown out with compressed air.
Separate polishes for glossy and matte surfaces are used if the customer wishes.
Transmission Washing. Each part of the transmission is removed and washed separately.
Washing of brakes. Brakes are washed separately with a special product. Rotor brake surfaces or brake tracks are washed with a degreaser as needed.
We adhere to a high standard of service. When you give your bike to a bike workshop, you will be assured of high quality work and care for your bike.
